Flashing started all operations completed firmware updating failed
I downloaded the latest sourcecode from here on git, and tried to flash it to my BMP mini.
Now, while I can get into the bootloader, the regular code does not run.
For the purposes of this article I am going to assume that you understand the risks of flashing your BIOS and have a good reason for upgrading your existing BIOS.

Misidentification of your motherboard make/model/revision number If you built your computer then you know the brand of the motherboard that you purchased and you will also likely know the model number. If you purchased your computer prebuilt, as most people do, then you probably don't know what is under the hood.
Look for the manufacturer, model number and a revision number.
You can also get pertinent information from the initial POST screen.
Then Press the [Volume Up] button to continue and you will see a download mode screen on your device like in the photo above.
Once you connect your Samsung device with the USB cable you can see that Odin's ID: COM triangular bar turned to blueish color and shows you the USB port number of your Samsung device is using for connecting with your computer.
It is essential that you do it mistake free if you still want to be able to use your computer.
If I unplug it, and plug it back in, no message in dmesg, and only the green light comes on.
Hi Adam I can't think of anything obvious that could be wrong. Please also confirm that you are using my Black Magic mini hardware (with the small 10 pin Samtec connector).
