The reviewer called the device “really well-rounded” and said it “runs flawlessly for media transcoding.” Windows Central included the EX7000 in their list of best Wi-Fi extenders for improving coverage in the home.

They called out features such as a high-gain antennae to maximize coverage, five gigabit ports for connecting devices via Ethernet and a USB 3.0 port for access to stored media.

When it comes to ensuring safety and responsibility on the Internet, proper education and a policy of mutual trust and respect are the best policies. The web is a vast playground of debauchery and anthropological horrors, and it’s a teenager’s prerogative to peer occasionally over the Gates of Mordor into the land of shadows.

When you connect to a wireless network, the settings and profile of that specific network is saved on your computer so that you won’t have to re-enter your network credentials, such as the wireless security key to connect the next time.

Try a different laptop to see whether it has the same problem.

Step 5 Select the Authentication tab and uncheck the Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network box.

If the Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network box is checked, it will trigger the “unable to find a certificate to log you on to the network” message because Windows is looking for a certificate but your wireless router is not set up for certificate security.

If the box was checked, then that was why you were getting the “unable to find a certificate to log you on to the network” message because Windows is looking for one, but your wireless router is not setup for certificate security. Once I unchecked that box and tried to reconnect to the wireless network, everything worked fine!

Step 4 Select the Wireless Networks tab, and then select the network from the bottom list.

Select Properties once you locate the wireless network causing the error.

I checked my settings on the wireless router to make sure I didn’t accidentally setup certificate security, but found no such thing.

Also, since I was able to connect from my laptop with no problem, it led me to believe it was something wrong with my desktop.
