This sense of immediate intimacy has served her well.
Hayley signed to Atlantic Records as the lead singer and lyricist of Paramore when she was just 15.
The symbolism may have been a bit heavy, but when Williams talked between songs about the nervous moments when she thought the band would dissolve after the Farro brothers’ departure, it became clear how important the trio’s bond remains.
"It's been a real roller coaster," said Williams, "so thanks for taking the ride with us." Throughout the evening, Williams displayed unending energy and a knack for controlling the crowd.
Seeking to front her own band, Williams convinced Atlantic to let her piece together a full lineup.
On skittish Paramore tracks like “Emergency” and “Misery Business,” she proved herself to be a sensitive and poetic lyricist, writing songs about growing up, first love, and first heartbreak, always with a sense of strength and excitement.
Gillespie would go on to be one of several drummers to fill the throne in-between Zac Farro’s spells in the fold of the band.

Some of the bigger names Bendeth has worked with include Taking Back Sunday, Underoath, Vertical Horizon and All Time Low.
In a weirdly-coincidental moment, one of the other albums that Bendeth produced that year was , the debut solo album by Underoath drummer Aaron Gillespie under the moniker The Almost.
